Last weekend the UAE Championship took place in the center of Abu Dhabi with national and international racers competing in front of one of the most amazing skylines in the world. With technical problems for your top three international riders and a great performance of the young and upcoming UAE racers it opened a door of momentum for Salman Alawadhi who took the win and the points lead. The Austrian who made his way through the field in Moto one was stopped by a small technical failure. A quick fix for second Moto and a win with a great lead made it clear that he is not done with his title hunt.

 

The upcoming weekend marks the second to last round of the Championship taking place at Kite Surf Beach in Dubai.

 

 

Das Feld zieht sich zusammen

Vergangenes Wochenende ging die VAE Meisterschaft im Zentrum Abu Dhabis über die Bühne. Mit technischen Problemen der Top Drei internationalen Fahrern, öffnete sich die Türe für den jungen Newcomer Salman Alawadhi, welcher den Wochenendsieg und die Führung der Gesamtwertung übernahm. Kevin Reiterer kämpfte sich seinen Weg durch das Starterfeld im ersten Lauf, musste sich während er einem sicheren Sieg entgegenfuhr mit technischen Problemen geschlagen geben. Das Problem war schnell behoben und Reiterer sicherte sich den Sieg im zweiten Wertungslauf.

Das kommende Wochenende bringt die Fahrer zurück nach Dubai zum vorletzten Grand Prix am Kite Surf Beach.
